About me

A little about me, I have just finished training as a product designer at

Bournemouth, but I have a passion for both graphic design and photography

as well. I consider myself to be reliable, trustworthy, friendly and

able to adapt well to different situations. Coming from a product

design background I have a wide knowledge of many aspects of the

design process such as material types and uses, manufacturing

processes, sustainability, mechanics, 3d modelling programs, basic

electronics, prototyping, design for production and manufacture, as

well as a good artistic and creative foundation.

The product design course at Bournemouth is also focused on sustainability,

with modules taught and relevant projects undertaken, and a final year

sustainability award for which I was nominated. This has instilled in me a

sustainable design responsibility which I hope to carrry forward in my

future work

Since graduation I have been lucky enough to be able to work with a

small, Brighton based graphic design company called SOAP:Designs,

where I was able to work on a range of promotional merchandise and

band flyers, posters and logos. This has vastly improved my Adobe CS skills.

Having also had to produce my final year product design project, I have some

experience liasing with suppliers and manufacturers, and also hands-on

production skills.
