About me
I am a confident self-starter and from my previous roles as a Project Manager and in various other Project Coordinator and Administrative Support roles, I am sure that I have the skills and experience necessary to succeed in my next role. In my current role as a Project Manager for an Experiential Marketing company I take responsibility and ownership of the management of my projects I have successfully launched multiple campaigns/events for my clients. With a background in Finance positions as well I am also capable and comfortable in dealing with budgets and invoicing. I am looking to move into a more general Studio Manager role which utilises all the skills I have built up in the range of previous roles I have worked in.
Within my current role I run the briefing in meetings for all new jobs that come into Production and then run the build, launch, tour and wrap up each of my jobs. A key function of this role is being the communicator between various areas of the business, ensuring that Production are up to date with schedules and any changes. I am also responsible for keeping these lines of communication clear and consistent with my clients. This includes scheduling meetings, diary management and conference calls, taking notes during client meetings and sharing this information with the team in follow up emails.
Whilst in this role I work regularly with the same clients and suppliers, as such I have built strong working relationships which are essential to my success. I am always busy and this high pressure environment requires an absolute knowledge of all details of the project, allowing me to think on my feet and best manage my workload. I thrive in a deadline driven environment and enjoy scheduling and managing a timeline with colleagues to see these deadlines met. I work closely with Artwork Creatives on the client side as well as our printing suppliers to check and correct any artwork issues and maintain deadlines. I have the skills to approve artwork in order to progress with the build.
I am able to take on information and changes confidently, remaining unflappable and solution focused when problems do arise. Part of my current role also involves creating content for the Social Media channels of Scene 2 and having an understanding of the brands that I am working with as well as gaining the permissions necessary. I also have a keen interest in Social Media and Influencer culture as I run my own personal Instagram account as well as blogging.
I am an incredibly organised person by nature; coordinating travel schedules, meetings and balancing other projects. Particularly in my current role I have found myself becoming the 'go to' person in the office for information as I make it my aim to have as much knowledge on all areas of the business as possible. I am not one to be idle in the workplace, I am consistently proactive and looking towards what can be done now to make a system run more smoothly in the future.
I am a naturally positive and enthusiastic person, always willing to give 100% and go above and beyond to ensure a job is done to the best of my ability. I actively enjoy meeting with new clients and welcoming them into the workshop, leading these tours and site visits and arranging return transport as required.
