About me

All my life, film/TV production has fascinated me. I taught myself to read watching the credits roll, and whilst my friends drooled over the leading man onscreen, I marvelled at the special effects. Though my practical experience is predominantly administrative, I have produced two short films for Australian charities, and contributed to the publication of several media sources, both in print and online; largely in a informal PR capacity. Tertiary grounding in research, publication, film production, script development and resource management; together with my dedicated passion to the creative process, lead me to believe I will be an asset to any production team. I am here on a 2-year Working Holiday visa and want to make the most of my time, gaining viable career experience. I work well both autonomously, and part of a team. Posessing a creative mind, I think outside the box and work hard to keep myself stimulated within my role. I acknowledge that I still have a lot to learn about the industry, and I am keen to get started in a position that has a proven succession plan - either here or overseas (i.e. back in Australia). My long term goal is to embark on a fulfilling and sustaining career as a producer, and perhaps even write that ever-illusive feature screenplay; indulge my creativity to excess. So, take that gamble, give me a chance - you won't be disappointed. Roles interested in include: PA, Assistant Script Editor, Researcher, Press Officer, Studio Assistant, Runner etc
