About me

I have just completed my studies at Coventry University, gaining a BA Hons in French and International Relations. Alongside my degree, I have been working on an online qualification in Fashion and Design.

As an undergraduate, I have developed meticulous organisational skills and excellent written communication skills. Writing my dissertation on Grime culture showed my own style and creative flair, whilst helping me refine my research skills. My previous internship in Business Development gave me the opportunity to showcase my capabilities for managing numbers, KPIs and SLAs and writing reports.

Since finishing university, I have undertaken 2 unpaid internships in London. The first was as a Studio Assistant. My main responsibilities have involved designing, styling and creating garments, as well as general studio duties. I specialised in leather work which taught me a new skill and expanded my fashion knowledge. Furthermore, I assisted with planning and directing social media posts. After this, I interned at Drapers Magazine alongside the Stylist. My duties included organising PR samples, returns, preparing items for photoshoots and general stylist duties.

I have since worked as a store assistant and merchandiser in the Jaded Pop-Up store in Carnaby Street. I was in charge of stock management and replenishment, recording targets and visual merchandising. I also helped with press events. From this, I was asked to work for Absence of Colour- my current employer. I spend my time in the concession in Topshop Oxford Circus and Topshop Knightsbridge. My role consists of merchandising, conducting stock counts, recording data on best sellers, organising deliveries and hitting sales targets.

In my spare time, I enjoy doing photography. I studied the subject at A level, and I proficient in all Adobe platforms. Since coming to London, I have assisted on photoshoots for small brands, and have also helped models put together their portfolios. I also shoot my own clothing brand, Killjoy London.

Alongside my degree, I taught myself the theory of design and sketching pieces, and began creating my visions and selling them on Depop. This grew exponentially, and I decided that I wanted to create my own brand, which is now Killjoy London. It is my long-term goal to have my own store. Alongside this venture, I started my own blog where I post and discuss outfits and my own clothing. Additionally, I was asked to help design my university's sports team's clothing, and my input was incorporated into the tops we wear today to represent our university
