About me
Ipek Demircioglu is an interior architect and graphic designer.
She sees interior architecture as a multi-disciplinary study, a harmony of products, materials, art pieces, sounds, sensations, graphics, architecture, history, culture, time and human psychology. She pays close attention to contrasts and relationships in between light and bold, cold and warm, man-made and nature, historical and modern, hand-crafted and high-tech.
Her work has a minimal and conceptual approach, focusing on basic geometrical forms. I always analyse the history and culture according to the context of the design project and create smart and innovative solutions accordingly. She utilizes strong geometries, bold graphics and try to create sculptural spaces with a vigorous conceptual approach.
Ipek believes in the power of innovations, thus, invent design projects that would make an impact on the users' habits and way of thinking. Spaces of our day must always provoke change and innovation.
