ABOUT
Further Exploration and Experimentation
While the main goal for this project was to showcase a series of materials which mimic normal wear and tear on different materials, it has become an opportunity to further develop my rendering style, setup, and workflow.
The materials themselves have become a point of pride given how they automatically map themselves to any object, painting the different stages of wear independently of any UV mapping. I have since further developed them and I hope to make them a mainstay of any future projects.
This first additional series of renders serves to showcase the results of additional care to lighting and framing. It also allows for a clearer picture of the models shape and changes from the original car.
These series will follow a looser format, unconcerned with a consistent number of renders, ratio or any other discernible pattern. Moreover, not all of these renders will be available on my social media pages, given their superficial similarities to previously published works. Pages on professional platforms will display this collection in full.
