About me

A recent graduate in Graphic Design & News Media, seeking to find a stable position as a Graphic Designer within the creative industry.

Competent in software programmes such as Adobe CS2 Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Quark Express 7.

Past experience as a Junior Designer for signage company Jonsigns in Tyne & Wear. I worked on a range of corporate identity projects for a range of clients, seeing the project from initial brief to finished product.

During the course of my Foundation Degree, I gained valuable experience working for The Chronicle newspaper in Newcastle, producing advertisements for the newspaper and working on a range of concept ideas for future njc media publications.

I also worked as Co. Designer for the June 2007 issue of Edinburgh culture magazine The Skinny, taking full responsibility for the layout and design of three large sections of the magazine - the music, games and listings section.
