In this moving short film, created for social care charity Jewish Care, we meet 100-year old Millie, a widower living alone in London’s East End. With no immediate family around her, attending Jewish Care’s Stepney Day Centre means literally everything to Millie. It was at the centre that she met up with Beattie, her childhood best friend who she hadn’t seen in over 50 years. In Millie’s own words, “without Jewish Care, I’d have nothing and no-one”.
