About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am currently an assistant producer at MTJ Media and manage a number of projects, where I liaise with the clients, organise the schedule, call sheet and other elements of the filming brief. I am responsible for writing casting calls and arranging and filming auditions to send or upload to the clients. The majority of my duties involves being highly organised and communicating with clients and managers.

During my position within the Prison Service I carried out filming projects single handed. I would be involved in all aspects of the film making, from pre production, filming, and post production (editing and distributing). I would manage all the people involved in the filming, and ensure that the schedule times were kept. Many projects which I was involved in would involve tight deadlines and because of the high profile people involved, the ability to work under pressure was a must.

I am an all rounder when it comes to video production. I have a vast range of media experience since graduating university in 2002 with a 2.1 degree in Communication, Culture and Media. I have worked as a researcher and production assistant at Spire Films, taught basic filming, editing and graphics skills with a media arts based company, and filmed for a touring theatre company. I currently write reviews weekly for an online publisher based in Oxford.

I have experience using a range of software packages including, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Encore, Final Cut Pro.

I am a creative person who enjoys a challenge. I am highly motivated and enthusiastic in all aspects of life but particularly in the creative industry.
