A self-initiated project exploring the visual potential of Kirlian photography, using everyday organic subjects as a means of investigating unseen energy and structure.
Common fruit and vegetables, rendered through a process that reveals what is not normally visible.
Each subject was captured using a custom Kirlian camera setup, generating high-voltage electrical fields to produce corona discharges around the edges of the organic material.
The compositions are deliberately simple and centralised, allowing the complexity of the discharge patterns to define each image.
