Ryan and Julie had a shared dream : to start a family on the island of Out Skerries, Shetland Islands. A small fishermen community has been established there for centuries. Ryan grew up on the island with his family. Their dream almost came true... But a little while after laying the foundations of their new home, the secondary school was being closed by the government. Forcing almost all the children of the island to leave. Scott, their oldest son, is one of them and has to move to the Mainland. Ethan, their second son, has one year left with his family on the Island, as the community keeps on fighting to stay alive. Everyone knows that this closure will change their entire life and will probably kill the community.
