CHALLENGE
Whether you’re partial to peach or pistachio, TooA makes it possible for anyone to make fresh gelato at home, using natural ingredients, in just three minutes. But the Italian food-tech start-up needed a brand that would feel disruptive and differentiated, and that would convey its compelling new positioning in the right way.

SOLUTION
We developed a powerful brand strategy and brand platform to bring the brand proposition – transforming the way you enjoy gelato at home – to life. Through a collaborative naming process, we workshopped and developed the name ‘TooA’. A play on the spelling of the Italian word ‘tua’, which means ‘your’, it was the perfect foundation on which to create a strong and distinctive design system that added depth and texture to the brand’s visual articulation. In combination with the new visual identity, the name represents a bold and modern expression for the new brand; together, they gave TooA the opportunity to secure the necessary investment to continue developing its brand.

IMPACT
TooA’s brand platform has provided a strong foundation for the company’s continued success. Its products are now available in multiple retail locations across Europe, and it has also launched a dedicated app and e-commerce website.
