ABOUT

The brief for this project was to create a typographic piece to explore any fad from history. I decided to create a large format book that explored arsenic use in Victorian Britain and how the Victorians obsession with this chemical poisoned the nation. The dominant colour in the book is a rich green that is representative of a colour that was used within Victorian Britain that contained arsenic known as Scheele's Green. The format of the book is 420mm x 275mm, with French folded pages on a recycled off white paper stock that compliments the green that is used throughout.
