Elliot here, Australian copywriter/Editor who just exchanged sunny Bondi Beach for 50 shades of London. Pleasure to have your attention.

Seven years ago, Bachelor of Communications in back pocket (Journalism and Media Production major), I threw myself into learning firsthand about storytelling in our brave new digital world.

I've since had the opportunity to write copy for the Obama White House's Instagram account, and acquired experience in the field via companies like Nike and Red Bull, translating their brand values directly to millions in a language they engage with.

My most recent position was two-fold: As Lead Creative at Rolling Youth Press, and Editor In Chief of its surf media house, Stab Magazine, I ideated and executed content for brands like Nike, Red Bull, Land Rover, Vodafone, Sprite, Sony, Nokia, Bonds, Corona, Bulleit Bourbon, Stance Socks, Vans, and more.

Don't let the niche fool you; Whilst there, I built a 100k-daily dot com readership through punchy editorial, good SEO practise and scroll-stopping headlines (always clickable, never clickbait). I grew the social media following to 2m, and wrote films that have reached 1m-plus playcounts. I was also fortune enough to redefine the company's brand voice.
