The dragon character came about from an MA project based on stroytelling and children's books. Initially he was going to remain an illustration but I decided to make the model to enhance my drawings...only the 3D model became the main star of the show! Percival is made with a wire armature, super sculpey clay with each scale individually moulded and attached to the body. He was then, very lovingly, hand painted.
