Project Manager (IT) COMAG 24th February st August2007

- Ran a smaller version of the NatMags AD migration at COMAG on recommendation from NatMags. Project spend£85K plus. Additional task of converting and upgrading multiple Access and Excel databases which were uncontrolled but business critical.

Project Manager (IT) National Magazines (NatMags) March th February 2007 & August 2007

- Training - August 2007 One week of training IT Manager and team leaders at NatMags of the basics of Project Management using Prince2 methodology and the use of the Enterprise version of Project 2003.

March 2006 - February 2007

- The project was an IT migration from a Novell to a Microsoft Active Directory environment and touched every person within the company (a total of 1,200). Prince2 methodology, in conjunction with enterprise version of Project 2003, was the control mechanism used to structure the project. The budget was £1 million pounds and also entailed the replacement and upgrading of all Comms, servers, Macs, desktops and laptops. The introduction of new software has automated and transformed the way the IT department handles its new environment.

- SOX Auditors from the American Head Office examined the financial control and the workflow and processes used. All processes developed during the AD migration were constructed with a view to meeting SOX compliance. Their feedback was that it was the most successfully run projec
