About us
Banks for Institutions is a service initiative that has been established by Michael G. Ehlert. His motivation derived from his experience with pitching to investors and banks, his experience during the Directorship for Global Transaction Services (HK) Limited, his passion for data, details and a well prepared conversation and the wish to contribute to the financial Inclusion of developing and rural areas into the global payment system. Michael believes that access to a bank account, or more specific, to sending and receiving payments, should be available to everyone, including the 700 million people who live in remote areas and are dependent on payments from their relatives in (further) developed countries.
BFI introduces Financial Institutions to banks for the opening of correspondent banking and payment clearing and settlement accounts. We are able to help low, medium and high risk Financial Institutions (Banks and Non-Banks).
Our clients are based in Asia, Europe and South America and the account opening banks we work with are also mostly based in Asia and Europe but for USD clearing also in the United States..
Our clients are facing difficulties in reaching the right banking partner and getting through their KYC on-boarding process.
