About me
I've worked as a journalist and marketing specialist for over 20 years.
Magazines I write for regularly include Government Computing, eHealth Insider, Electro Optics Magazine, Research Information Magazine, eHealth Europe, Scientific Computing World, The Health Summary, and the British Journal of Healthcare Computing.
Other publications I contribute to include Care of the Critically Ill, Pharmaceutical Visions, Cardiology News and Defence Management Journal.
In addition to journalism, I've managed European public relations for Hewlett-Packard's industry-standard server division, managed Marconi's national business and technical public relations, ran the strategic press campaign for Agilent's European launch, and carried out in-depth market research for a range of companies, including Siemens, British Telecom, The Open Software Foundation, Fujitsu, Agilent, HP, the NHS, Deloitte, and the European Union.
I also work as a research consultant for King's College London United Medical and Dental School.
I've worked as a copywriter for, amongst others, Microsoft, Apple, BOC, Philips Medical, Agilent, Hewlett-Packard, and Siemens.
I have a degree in Classics from Bristol University, and an MA in Classics from King's College London.
I'm married with two daughters, and live in Kent, near London.
