Now, we all love having time off and jetting away somewhere hot, sometimes we want it but most of the time we need it. Being dedicated to your work is awesome, but often creatives can burn themselves out by working too hard. If you think about it, how much more refreshed do you feel when you come back to work after just a few days off?

New inspirations for your designs

While you’re taking a short break in the morning, at lunch, and during the afternoon, take in the surroundings, the nature around you, the weather as well as the temperature. We certainly know when we take our breaks we love to check out the new things popping up in and around London. One of our favourite places is Shoreditch, the bright colours, the cool displays, the uniqueness is just great inspiration for designs for our product templates as well as marketing campaigns! Taking some time off to wander around your local town will give you great inspiration for new campaigns, new techniques, or new print design such as roller banners or business cards, come back with a bang as we like to say.

Overworking could damage your health

Overworking yourself could result in damaging not only your physical, but your mental health too. In recent years, mental health has been recognised more than it ever has been, with more people becoming comfortable speaking about their struggles, which we think is great. A statement by Mind has mentioned, finding the cause of stress is the place to start. Other than mental health, overworking yourself could lead to physical health issues too from back pain, to headaches.

Sleep is the key to productivity

I am sure you know the feeling of not getting enough sleep and having to go to work and try and be as productive as possible. Rumour has it, designers don’t tend to get as much sleep as they need, which often leads to lower productivity. So, one bit of advice from us is have a good night sleep and you’ll come back better than ever.
