I was asked to create an internal poster, tickets and programme for the Penguin & DK annual Christmas concert. At the time we had just released a set of beautifully designed hardback series to mark 70 years of F.Scott Fitzgerald, styled with art deco foil jackets. My intention was to design using typography as art emanating this period in the same colour palette as these books. Budgets were low as this was to be a charity event and marketed internally only and I really wanted to get that metallic sheen to come across. Instead of foiling, I found some pearlescent card and paper that had created a shimmery effect. For the online ad, I took the shortened text from the ticket design for it to work on a small squared-off space.

The tickets for the event sold out two days after the posters and online advert went out.
