Dear Sir or Madam,
Within my next role I would expect to be working closely with the Account Management Teams and the client, to help shape the digital strategy/solution. There should be an analytical aspect to this role in order to validate business decisions and ROI. I am comfortable working with the client and the development team to scope, define the user experience, cost and fully manage the delivery of integrated projects to meet the needs of the customers.
I am currently working within an Agile development environment with the product owners/client operating on the same floor; so we have to be very responsive to customer requirements and associated bug fixing. We have a Scrum Master in place, so I would bring the development teams together to develop and execute launch plans for each new service release. We are currently re-launching a couple of our products at RBI and one of the projects involves creating an iPhone / Android App for one of the publications that will be published weekly. It is not uncommon to be working on three to four projects in parallel, with varying levels of involvement on each.
One of my remits at the moment is to map how various RBI publications and its associated products is utilizing online communities to enhance its presence within its sector. Key to this work is to bring together fragmented activity which is happening across both the editorial and marketing teams and then via a series of workshops create a sustainable schedule of activity on the various social media channels to then evaluate an uplift in subscriber engagement and conversion levels.
My primary driver is to be part of a team which pursues quality and novel solutions. I am passionate about good simple elegant design, along with delivering a good user experience which will deliver measureable benefits to the client.
