About me
David Cordon was born in Melilla and grew up in Torremolinos, Málaga. He studied Chemistry and went to work with a scholarship at the Ministry of Environment in Berlin as a lab technician in 2004.
David's first foray behind the camera came during his time volunteering as a primary school teacher in the African village of Tafo (Ghana) which evolved out of a need to capture his extraordinary journey. Over the course of a year he filmed six episodes about local living, from children at the school to an 82-year-old farmer, which was featured on a Spanish TV channel. After traveling around Europe, Africa and Asia, David moved to London where a year later he founded 'Another Lazy Sunday' with a group of friends and fully immersed himself in film-making. He spent the years that followed directing and producing over 60 music documentaries in the UK, Berlin and Paris.
In 2013, David made his debut fiction short: Future Got No Past, produced by Annabel Bates, with whom David formed a long-lasting partnership with, resulting in Honeybee Films Limited.
