I am writing in application for the editorial position advertised.

I have recently been working for The Independent and The Sunday Times.

Whilst at River Publishing I was Sub-editor on Visit Britain, a series of travel and historical interest magazines promoting Britain. I was also Sub-editor on St. James Place The Investor (Investment news for clients of the St. James Place Partnership).

For Partners Columns Design agency I oversaw the rebrand of Axa Insurance's corporate literature, liaising with Partners Columns and Springboard design agencies along with William Lea printers, maintaining Schedules and overseeing designers and sub-editors. I was also Chief sub-editor on the Wealth Management Survey for Spear's, the wealth management and luxury lifestyle media brand, working directly with Editor-in-Chief William Cash.

I have previously worked for business publishers such as Centaur and EMAP.

At Centaur I was Production Editor on Fund Strategy, a source of news and analysis for the UK's top investment firms. At EMAP I was Sub-editor across three Middle East business titles, MEED (Middle East Economic Digest), Meed Money and GMR (Gulf Marketing Review).

I have also worked on health and nutrition books for Dorling Kindersley and plant biology books and monographs for B.T. Batsford. At Dorling Kindersley I also worked on the Oxford University Press/Dorling Kindersley Illustrated English Dictionary and a range of other titles.
