About me
I'm a freelance filmmaker - I shoot, direct, produce and edit and consider myself a culture geek with a love of film and images. I have over 15 years of commercial experience, working across the public and private sectors, covering post production, on demand programming, studio broadcast and lifestyle content.
I specialise in creating live action films for the web. I have collaborated with musical acts such as John J Presley, We The Committee and Resigned. I'm confident in creating drama and have worked with actors and non-actors. My latest short "Bark" was nominated for the Golden Phoenix award at the Middlesborough Short Film Festival 2015.
Through my production studio, snicket, I have been commissioned to create promotional content for universities, agencies and digital start ups. My clients include Goldsmiths University, UAL, Vodafone and Sylvanian Families UK. Running my own business means I'm used to developing original ideas, working to client briefs and delivering on time and within budget. I also have a network of freelance crew who I can call upon including cameramen, sound recordists, editors, copywriters, vfx artists and producers.
I also worked for the video on demand sector for BTVision where I implemented marketing strategies across a live platform, on channels such as Film4, Picturebox and Universal. This entailed dealing with licensing windows and tight deadlines in a high pressure environment.
I am familiar with post production workflows and confident with creating edits, uploading and exporting clips for use across multiple platforms and the web. I also have client facing experience creating scripts, storyboards and dealing with feedback for the delivery stage.
