Estephanie at beaut&beast approached me again with a brief of creating flash cards for children. Her idea was to bring people of great importance in their fields to new light, this time the focus was on people of Native origins and the African diaspora. She provided old photographs of each idol as well as a description of the items and other aspects she'd like. The idea was to create portraits with an almost whimisical but iconic feel to them. 20 Portraits were created over the span of a few months.
