Dear Sir / Madam

Recently returning to the U.K. after spending five years working in Japan as a graphic designer / manager, I am seeking employment as a designer within a company with a bright, challenging future. I learned of your vacancy through an Internet search and felt I was right for the position.

As well as having several years of experience working with computers, both P.C. and Macintosh, I also have extensive knowledge of QuarkXpress, Adobe packages (illustrator, Dreamweaver, In-Design, Flash, Photoshop) and Microsoft Word, Works etc.

I am particularly adept at dealing with situations, which involve working with people to tight deadlines and am a creative and dynamic person who is a perfectionist when it comes to work.

In addition to my design experience, I also have 4 years of Managerial experience, managing and teaching at a large school in Tokyo.

I am excited about the possibility of putting my skills and knowledge to use in a firm such as yours.
