About me

My name is Mirna Kananathan, graduated from Southampton Solent University with a 2.1 in Interior Design. As I have just recently graduated from University so my ideas will be fresh and new.

After university I am currently working as a space planning assistant, but I want to develop more and see how other fields' works in the creative and marketing area.

At university I got the chance to work with real clients, both commercial and domestic. One was with a client who owned a coffee shop and wanted us to re-design the layout/colour scheme that would be more suitable for the environment and design for the disabilities. Another client was domestic client, who wanted us to re-design his kitchen, making it more suitable for the elderly people and pitching our idea in an ergonomically way to the client.

So I do have experience connecting with clients building a relationship with them, pitching ideas, drawing up material specifications, concept boards for the clients to see a visual image of the outcome using professional software such as sketchup.
