The performance of glass blowing technique, as a raw form, is important to me, especially at the molten stage when gravity influences the form through the movement. This project is an installation, made of six pieces (two groups of three), each piece has a light in the center. Free glass blowing (without molds) method allows me to translate the qualities of material in the shape. Glass body symbolizes the mother protected love for a new life. Thus, both bodies dance in the same celebrative movement as they both truly connected. I see this connection on traditional techniques with modern appearance in a new contemporary context in my works.
