Are you sitting comfortably

I am more often than not known as Gig, but I'm officially Georgina Read. With a nickname deriving from a childhood passion to be a pig farmer, I'm pretty keen on the outdoor lifestyle and don't mind getting my hands dirty.

Now 26, I graduated from Nottingham Trent School of Art & Design a few years back. Whilst there, my studies into Fashion Communication and Promotion gave me a

pretty decent insight into the world of advertising, covering areas such as clothing, food products and even skateboarding. So, with an informed understanding of a handful of industries, a strong creative talent and my ability to adapt to new

environments, I like to think I'm a fairly grounded girl.

Having donned many netball skirts and shin pads in my time, my passion for sport has also encouraged a stronger sense of self-discipline within many other areas in my life. Training for county athletics competitions alongside competing in team based sports, has helped to ensure I work effectively with others, as well as motivate myself as an individual. Sticking to strict schedules, in regards to training regimes, has also

heightened my awareness of the importance of time management and organisation.

I know this all sounds a bit Miss World, but all in all what I'm trying to say is, that the skills I have picked up both on my travels and whilst at university have built my confidence and inspired my creativity.

So pass me a pencil and I'll draw you a picture, hand me an ice cold prosecco and I'll drink it, give me a job and I might just do something amazing.
