About me

Mariam Azmi aka 'Mannay' was born in Karachi but moved to Dubai and stayed there. She originally wanted to represent Pakistan at the Olympics in the three-legged race but fate had other plans. She has studied theatre at the Anupum Kher Acting School in Mumbai and has performed in several stage plays such as NAPA's Equus and Made for Stage's musical, Karachi: Haar Na Mano. Mariam has worked with several TV channels HUM, ARY, TVONE, STYLE 360, FTV, etc and has appeared in several TV soaps, tele films, sitcoms, hosted fashion and music shows, and appeared in music videos. Mariam Azmi has also been the face of many brands including djuice, Lifebuoy, Dawlance, Peki, Warid and Jubilee Insurance. Having a unique sense of fashion, she has worked in wardrobe design for film, TV and theater. She loves playing cranium and is willing to lend her expertise to soul searchers. Mannay once worked as a telemarketer and tried to sell a discount card to Madonna but failed miserably. She loves Lindt chocolate and would be much obliged to receive a box on spreading love & happiness.
