To whom it may concern,

I am a recent Professional Writing and Literature graduate who cherishes the written word (particularly poetry) and possesses a natural flair for language. I believe the combination of my quick tongue, attention to detail and deliberative nature would prove me an asset to any organisation or individual willing to provide me an opportunity to both further their brand and strengthen my own writing skills.

I have a keen interest in Advertising and plan to undertake a Masters Course in the field in 2008. Ideally this would be completed on a part basis around the hours of a position within the industry. Indeed, my Bachelors Degree involved Editing and Advertising components that I enjoyed immensely and for which I received strong grades.

I understand that my lack of experience could be a potential obstacle to procuring employment, yet what I lack in experience I strive to bridge with exuberance and exertion. I am very excited about the prospect of working in a creative capacity within a professional environment and am sure the assimilation period into any team would be seamless.

As I am an Australian who has just recently moved to the UK, I regretfully do not have a copy of my portfolio with me. However, a sample of my writing could be provided if required upon request.
