ignis was asked to activate Ballantine’s Hard Fired in several airport spaces across France with the brief ‘to create the ultimate Instagram wow-photo’. Ballantine’s Hard Fired needed to stand out against the competition and create conversation surrounding the brand.

Beyond tasting the whisky, we wanted to help passengers understand the unique properties of this new-to-market whisky.
With fire at the heart of the brand messaging, which provides a unique taste to the whisky, passengers were able to fire up their phones through charging points at our charred bar, whilst sampling the travel retail exclusive whisky.

Our passengers were exposed to the brand story through the charred wood bar from which they could sample and taste the smoke and vanilla notes of Ballantine’s Hard Fired.
Passengers were able to marry both the smell and taste so as to better understand the unique properties of Ballantine’s Hard Fired. In addition to this Brand Ambassadors were therefore able to have a more focused and natural conversation with passengers.
