About me
I have just completed a degree course in BA Media and Modern Literature at Goldsmiths College, University of London, for which I received a 2.1. This course has enabled me to develop a range of skills, including learning to take responsibility for organizing and managing my own study schedules; punctually meeting my deadlines without exception. I also refined my ability to work collaboratively with other students on key projects, using my initiative to research a topic in depth. I have excellent communication skills, both as a listener and as a communicator. I readily take part in group discussions and value learning about other people's viewpoints and opinions.
This degree enabled me to excel in Creative Writing, in which I received one of my best grades, quenching, whilst whetting, my literary thirst. It also exposed me to all kinds and genres of the world's greatest literature. I learned how to be inspired and influenced by it, while developing my own unique style of writing. During the duration of the course, I produced tons of poetry, prose and 'journalistic' style writing. The media side of the course, in which I specialised in Journalism, required me to use much of what I had learned from the Literature side but in a more formatted and disciplined way, though still encouraging creativity of style and ideas. All the while, I was receiving this priceless education from some of the country's most competent professors, tutors and teachers.
