About me

I'm a hard worker with a unique creative flair, experienced in video production. In 2015 I graduated with a 2:1 in Film and Television Studies from Aberystwyth University. At University I was involved in a vast number of student productions, both in Film and Television, I took on a range of roles from Directing, Lighting, Sound, Cinematography, editing and Writing, which is the role I took on most frequently and enjoyed the most, I always found the responsibility of meeting the script deadline rewarding.

I have always had a passion for comedic productions and was influenced growing up by writers such as Wes Anderson & Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant and Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg.

I pride myself on being enjoyable to work with and quickly formed a close team of friends on my course. Making sure everyone's voice was heard was crucial, particularly in the editing room. Experimenting with different ideas from different perspectives was something I learned a great deal from as an editor.

As well as my degree, I have been producing videos for years. I currently edit high quality sports videos including rugby highlight videos and snowboarding/skiing videos for social media. I also write, produce and edit creative short films with my brother. I'm still learning the trade and these productions continue to develop my skills. I make these videos in my spare time, usually after work, because I love to do it.

I have worked with professional production companies also, as a runner on location and in various office environments as work experience, during which I developed my skills on editing programs Avid, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop as well as my Camera skills.

Through my work experience I have developed a professional attitude and a confidence to speak my mind when appropriate.

I consider my greatest asset to be my creativity, I'm a fast learner, am very organized and task orientated, I work well in teams but am also comfortable working alone and have excellent written language skills. I'm also a driver with my own car.
