About me

HI. I'm Jonathan—JB to my friends—and I'm a print designer with over 9 years industry experience working for Oxford University Press.

Throughout my time at OUP I have worked mainly across print, but also digital when required. I pride myself on my ability to deliver what is asked of me, as well as going above and beyond when possible. As much as I enjoyed the variety of work in my career so far, and the people I got to work with, I've decided to take myself freelance and look for opportunities to take me in a new direction in my career.

So I am looking to bring my skills to future colleagues, and clients, where I can further develop myself, creating great design work, and meeting some fantastic people along the way.

When I'm not sat at my desk working on layouts and typography, I can be found sketching. Currently I am obsessed with hand drawn type, ligatures in particular. But I also enjoy a good book or boxset, and diving, if i'm some place warm.
