About me
As a spatial designer, I believe that a great design starts with a story with ups and downs like a theatre play. From an early age on I had a strong connection with hand craft and heritage. I loved visiting museums and historical buildings, I still do. I have a strong connection with historical buildings and historical objects. It fascinates me how things were made but most of all their story.
I started at the Art Academy with the thought that one day I would become a creative architect. But time passed by and my passion for heritage grew stronger. That's why I had chosen to do my internship at PRS architects / GuM in London, They gave me the chance to work on great project's like The Crime Museum Uncovered, Museum of Rural Life and The Revealing of the Charterhouse. After my internship, I graduated at the Art Academy Minerva with a Bachelor degree Interior Design/Architecture.
I believe that the key to every design lies in the research. In most of my projects I find inspiration from historical research. But also from my environment, a simple leaf on a tree can lead to a whole design.
The challenge as a designer is to transform the story into an inspiring and engaging design. As a designer, I like to experiment with form, function, and materials. In my work, I often go in search of harmony. And I love to operate detailed and precise.
I'm always looking out for a new challenge.
