About me

I'm an Industrial Designer with experience working in a factory in Peru that manufactures footwear and leather goods for women and exports the products to many countries around the world. From this experience I understood the complete spectrum of this industry in my country. I was trained to analyze trends and apply them to the personality of the brand, material selection and collection development (shoes, handbags and accessories). I worked aside from the production area to optimize the lines of production; I also offered the collection to store buyers and final customers. This experience gave me rich knowledge on balancing new trends with commercial, producible, and usable products.
After almost 3 years working in this company, I was sure that the footwear and leather goods industry is one I would love to develop in. I came to Ars Sutoria to be formally trained in all the details that are involved in the design and then manufacturing process.
