About me

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Samantha East and I am 22 years of age and have recently finished my course in Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors, specialising in print design. I am finally coming to a time when I need to follow my particular interests - one of which is Design.

Working in the retail business for over five years has given me valuable experience and my current employment practical skills in dealing with customers and work colleagues. I have also had to work to targets within a team environment.

I have recently returned from studying at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute for 4 months. At Amsterdam I again studied Fashion Management, which I really enjoyed and gained a wider knowledge of the Design world. I would now like to expand my knowledge as living abroad gave me confidence and I would appreciate similar opportunities in the future.

Recently I have finished my exhibition which I really enjoyed creating and preparing for and would love to prepare something similar in the future.

I wish to continue my passion to learn more about Design by either more training or preferably hands on experience. I hope my C.V interests you and I would be grateful if you would consider my enthusiasm in this area for any future career opportunities.
