Early 2016 I won a pitch for the Wellie Wishers animated series and had the pleasure of creating the complete first season together with Submarine Studio in Amsterdam. At that time I did everything with pencil on paper, and our goal was to keep that hand drawn style while working digitally. We worked with Photoshop for backgrounds an props and ToonBoom for the characters and props. I was lead designer of the characters, made sketches and turnarounds for the outfits and the critters that are on the show.
