Sarah Katz has worked in television and multimedia production as a Producer, Shooter, Associate Producer, and Researcher for more than 15 years. Recently she worked on the National Geographic pilot series Mission Critical, a show highlighting Nat Geo photographers' conservation work in the field. Between January 2014 and September 2015 she joined the US State Department, International Information Programs' Interactive team as a New Media Producer focusing on international online engagement, digital, and public diplomacy. Prior to that she worked at The Great Courses where she produced over 156 half hours of educational content covering topics from science to literature and archaeology. She has credits on over forty documentaries for the History Channel, National Geographic Television, Biography, Planet Green, and Investigation Discovery. Sarah also received a Masters of Fine Art in Film from American University in 2009 where she received the Guy P. Gannett journalism scholarship from
