About me

My name is Leonie Kidd, I have just moved back to the UK after spending time living and working in South Africa. For the last two years I have been working as a script writer and video editor, as well as production coordinator, for a production company based in South Africa, providing programming for CNBC Europe. As well as the TV programme, I also wrote for 2 Chinese newspapers and 3 different websites which our company maintained. I specialised in business and market analysis in emerging economies, particulary in Africa and Eastern Europe. I have also covered major international conferences including the World Economic Forum on Africa and the Commonwealth Business Council's China, India, Brazil, Africa Business Forum.

I was on a salary that was just above the market related level in South African.
