About me

I am currently employed full-time as a Design Projects Manager in-house at Morrisons Plc. My role focuses on the implementation and project management of an agreed annual Design Plan. This ensures that we are constantly refreshing the look and feel of all the company's own brand products in line with current guidelines and with the ongoing brand development.

My main role is to liaise with the trading areas of the business, ascertaining the marketing and business requirements of the project. Then and perhaps most importantly, to agree and get sign-off of the project's budget and to deliver an inspiring, creative, well-researched and thorough brief to a design agency or individual creating the work. Then to review concepts, co-ordinate amends and deliver final design concepts on time, which I then present back to the business. My role then requires that I am heavily involved in the artwork and repro generation and sign-off and ultimately that the finished printed product in store is of exceptional design and print quality.

Advanced Design skills using Adobe Creative Packages.

High level of understanding of design briefs and the ability to communicate these briefs to others, both in a design forum and a business sense.

Presenting and Communication; both verbally and digitally.

Excellent time management and organisation.

Mentoring and management.
