In many countries, healthcare professionals are asked to declare any mental health issues in the same category as criminal activity. Which means they run the risk of having their license to practice revoked if they reveal their hidden struggles. Stigma such as this is why we are currently witnessing a rise in stress, depression and medical disorders such as burnout. Awareness is needed to start change and create understanding.


Healing the Healers is an integrated creative campaign that combines first-hand data with emotional storytelling to help the ones who help us. The campaign was launched with the film, Ask A Doctor, which pulled back the curtain on hidden challenges and metal disorders that doctors and healthcare professionals hide in order to keep their jobs and avoid the shame and stigma,a that comes from speaking up.

We set out to begin to understand Healthcare Professionals, start a conversation and hopefully enlist the help of some like-minded organisations.
