ABOUT

‘ŠIURPINYS’ is a book dedicated to children. It tells 13 horrible stories inspired by Lithua- nian folklore. The original narrative of each story was skillfully and playfully talled by children book writer Rasa Lazauskaite. I am so grateful for her that I had that wonderful opportunity to illustrate the book. It was such a colourful and expe- rimental artistic adventure that I could not imagine I would ever have. I created 13 characteristic illustrations and more than 200 small drawings inspired by rasa’s text.
