About me

I am writing in regards to the job mentioned above. I believe there is a good match between my skills, your needs and interests.

I am an experienced administrator having worked with NHS England and Barking & Dagenham Citizens Advice Bureau for more than 3 years. During my time with the Citizens Advice I was responsible for dealing with customer requests and enquiries in a polite and friendly manner, ensuring that their requests were dealt with promptly and to their satisfaction. This included requests from customers and staff. I also used various Microsoft Office Applications such as Word for typing letters, excel for customer information, reporting and Outlook for emails and diary management.

I was responsible for raising purchase orders using oracle and ensuring invoices were paid on time. I followed the policies of the organisation to ensure that financial controls were always in place. I would also order office supplies as and when the business required them, this included keeping a detailed inventory of items we had ordered and what had been used. I set up new reporting processes to ensure that monitoring was correct. In addition to this I have been involved in some HR activity, preparing interview papers for my managers and liaising with different departments in order to get members of staff on board as soon as possible.

I carried this over to my next role as Programme Administrator for NHS England's Learning Disabilities Programme, whereby I supported senior members of the team including the Programme Manager, regularly taking minutes and actions of meetings then distributing these to the rest of the team across the country. I am organised and proactive in my approach and I always ensure my tasks are completed in a timely manner. I have the ability to multi-task and take on various workloads, prioritising tasks according to the needs of the Programme.

I understand that in a busy office environment it is important to be organised and it was no different with NHS England as I was responsible for managing the multiple diaries of the work stream leads. I was required to schedule meetings and book travel so I am confident using web based customer information systems such as Redfern and various others as well as Microsoft Office applications. I have an excellent telephone manner and I am always polite and friendly.

Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement and I hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards

Moses Atuwaogu
