About me

I'm always looking for fun and creative ways to express myself, and I usually prefer to show it in the form of music. Having taken formal classical piano training from four to twelve years old, it has undoubtedly helped my ears distinguish what I like to hear. That musical energy transferred to guitars, then to bass, then to synthesizers, where I'm currently exploring all the crazy sounds that can be made. I definitely want music to be a part of everything I'm doing all the time and wish to integrate it into my career.

I've learned my way around Pro Tools, Cubase, Reaper, and Reason. Once you know one DAW, you get how all the others work. I have some exposure to Final Cut, but my focus is on audio.

Spinlanders for iOS by Backup Entertainment was conceived and made by my two good friends, Johnathan Yen and Albert Choi. I had the privilege of working on all the music, sound effects, and voices for their video game!

I also started making all the audio for their unreleased iOS game, Planisphere, for Dream Build Play 2011.

Please check out the sound demos on my Soundcloud.

My friend's Megadeth cover band, Five Magics, that I played bass for, lasted about a year. We only had one actual live show since we didn't have a lead singer.

Secrets of the Sky, a band based out of Oakland, was the last full band project I've been in playing bass. The music is along the lines of progressive doom metal. We had the privilege of recording at Trident Studios with Juan Urteaga, who also produced Machine Head and Testament.

Thanks for taking a look and if you have any questions or would like to collaborate, please let me know!
