About me

My name is Goulla Papadopoullos, I am 24 years old. Through out all my schooling I have had a keen interest in design. I graduated in 2005 from The University of the Arts London, Central St Martin's in BA Hons Textiles Design. Since graduating I have worked in print design for a leading UK fashion store and was commissioned for a project for St Paul's Cathedral.

I have been working with IKEA for the passed three years. When joining the company I worked in the cash office as supervisor, part time while studding. The roll gave me the opportunity to develop my communication and managerial skills. I was also able to learn new skills such as time management and delegation that would go on to help me in my new roll in the Communication and Interior Design department.

I have been with Communication and Interior Design Edmonton for two years, in this time I have been able to plan, implement and improve working practise in my Business areas. I began as decorator for Business area 1 (Living Rooms) and moved on to Business area 4 (Kitchens and Dining).

In the short space of time I have been with Ikea I have developed and progress in my role. I have been able to plan and implement Business Areas and Room Set, at the same time as developing in to the role of First Interior Designer.
