W*RD is a magazine which subverts the usage of words which we use, for example swear words. In the magazine we look at a range of different things to do with words such as the history and meaning behind words and how people’s opinion about words change depending on different factors. The theme of censoring runs through the magazine, with the each spread having a different way of censoring the text and imagery. The cover itself features a black band which represents the black bar often used to censor.

The end result resulted in an array of our typographic experimentation, which worked so well together!
