The British summertime and an ice-cold gin and tonic go hand in hand, so it quenched our thirst for creativity when Jonathan Knowles asked us to help out with his latest Seedlip creation.

Seedlip is the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit and it can be found in some of London’s best cocktail bars, michelin starred restaurants and luxury hotels. Seedlip say, ‘It’s what to drink, when you’re not drinking’.

Our approach to this project was going to be simple; balance, beauty, subtlety and freshness. The lighting and grading needed to reflect the quality, refinement and premium nature of the product; Tonally, each element should have just the right weight and depth of colour to maintain balance in the composition and finally; all of the elements needed to feel fresh, zingy and sharp. Like any good G&T!

We know that when you’re marketing a Great British artisan drinks product, you also have find the best craftspeople in the photography industry to do the job, that’s exactly why we treated this still life photography like a fine art piece and quite right too!
