About me

Dear Rob

I know this is a full time role, but I am looking for additional freelance work to fit in around my current position. I am currently working as a re-versioning editor at Turner (Part of Warner Brothers/Time Warner) re-editing various shows from the US, for UK output on TruTv and Turner Classic Movies (TMC). However, as I said, I am looking to take on further freelance work and hope to use my skills in areas in which I know I am best; editing and creativity. I am also London/Essex based

My Showreel can be found This includes work I completed for Diwali on the Square for the Mayor of London's Office, Olympics, ITV and more. my linked in page is : My CV is attached.

I'm Looking to work around my current job. I'm a fast and skilled editor and have the my own adobie edit suite.

I have recently finished my contract at JackFrancis Media as Creative Director and now hope to continue my creative career.

At JackFrancis Media, I had input into all aspects of the company output as well as new client meeting. I was also involved with JackFrancis marketing and new client pitching. With each of the new projects that come into JackFrancis Media, I would create and design the direction in which the project is taken. Starting with the pre-production, I will evaluate the project, the direction in which the client wishes to take finished video and who their target market is etc. Once this has been assessed, I will storyboard, script write, cast and plan the production. During the actual filming, I will over see the production and often direct the action. Managing a team of two I ensure that delivery is of the standard expected and reaches all of the clients brand pillars, this could be via video, animation or audio.

During my time at ITV I worked as a Multimedia Producer (MMP) responsible for creating ideas for the website's soap section to generate interest for upcoming storylines through show promos. In addition I also produced and edited the video specials, interviews, stories of interest as well as catch ups and previews of the various soaps and dramas. I also used my experience in lighting and filming (Z1 and PD150 and Sony EX1) interviews with characters, actors and celebrities as well as on set footage. I cut the rushes and was solely responsible for the finished promo products. Although I mainly cut for soaps, I also cut and gave advice to other MMP in other areas of the website including, current affairs, sport, lifestyle and entertainment. As I was working with a number of high profile celebrities, it was important to adapt my personality to suit, switching between jovial and formal formal. Because of this I was able to ensure that the celebrity would open up, would be happy to stay longer and would often agree to extra interviews or would ask if I was going to be involved in future interviews.
